Battle Royale just went on to mash an asteroid into Fortnite and turn the game into a literal black hole.
Just when you thought that Epic Games had thought of everything, the creators of Fortnite: Battle Royale go on to mash an asteroid into Fortnite and turn the game into a literal black hole.
No, we’re not kidding.
Apparently, as part of the season-ending event of Fortnite: Battle Royale, its 250 million or so users are left wondering why they can’t play the game.
After the event, called “The End”, happened, Epic Games took down Fortnite and went on to delete all of the tweets on its Twitter account. Meanwhile, the Twitch page was dedicated to live-streaming the very black hole that had literally consumed the game.
What’s even more surprising is that the millions of Fortnite: Battle Royale fans from all over the world are logging in to Fortnite’s Twitch channel just to watch the black hole. Many fans believe that something amazing is bound to happen.
Although no one can really explain what it is that is going to happen in the game next.
In any case, this is the strangest thing that Epic Games has done ever.
Is it a marketing stunt? Probably. Will it be successful? We don’t know just yet. But what we do know is that you have to admire the people over at Epic Games for coming up with such a stunt.
As for what comes next after the black hole, we’ll just have to wait and see to find out.
