The first-ever PUBG Classic will take place in London from April 16-21, as confirmed by PUBG’s
developers, PUBG Corp. Following the end of Phase 1 of the 2019 PUBG Esports season, the top teams from each league will congregate in London for the FACEIT Global Summit: PUBG Classic in April. The April event will be the first of three PUBG Classics that will take place throughout the year. From April 16 to April 21, as many as 24 teams from participating regions, such as Europe, Korea, North America, and China, will get a chance to take home a huge chunk of the $400,000 prize pool at the ExCeL London for the first PUBG Classic.The other two PUBG classics are scheduled to take place as soon as Phase 2 of the 2019 PUBG Esports season ends. Other than the prize money, the top performing teams will also be fighting for their region at the PUBG classics. The three best regions from each PUBG Classic tournament will be awarded one more qualification slot for the PUBG Global Championship later this year, where 32 teams will battle it out over a $2 million prize pool.
