Asura World Highlights PUBG
PUBG Corp will be applying the next update for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of PUBG once they take the games offline for their next scheduled maintenance. The update numbers are not the same across the multiple platforms. However, all content will be similar. This means that, once the update has ended, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of PUBG will receive new content, similar to the PC version. This includes a couple of new vehicles, the Flare Gun, as well as a wide slew of improvements to optimize the game’s performance on both consoles.

The next scheduled maintenance for the console servers will be on April 9 at 12 AM PT. This means that most players likely won’t feel the downtime so much. The update is expected to last for up to four hours. Once finished, the PUBG will have the same content across the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

The new patch will be highlighted by a couple of key additions. This includes the Snowbike and the Zima on the Vikendi map. The Snowbike will serve as the replacement for the Motorbike. Meanwhile, Zima will be replacing the UAZ. The Snowbike and Zimba will have their own speed and durability. Make sure to take note of these so you’ll know which vehicles you should be taking with you depending on your current status.

The latest update will also include the Flare Gun. The Flare Gun has already been out on the PC version of PUBG for quite some time and was adjusted subsequently following its release.

According to PUBG Corp., the latest version of the Flare Gun will work as follows:

- The Flare Gun will have an average spawn rate of 3 per game across all maps.

- Firing the Flare Gun while inside the current safe zone will call in a special care package containing gear. Meanwhile, firing the Flare Gun outside the current safe zone will send over an armored UAZ.

- Because finding an early Flare Gun carried too much of an advantage with little risk, the Flare Gun will only deliver a care package when used after the first blue zone phase.

- Players can only call a total of 2 special care packages and 2 armored UAZ per game.

- Regardless of whether you’re playing Solo, Duo, or Squad, the care package will contain only 1 set of items.

Expect the latest PUBG update to go live some time on April 9, depending on where you live.
