Summoners rejoice. If you’re a frequent Twitch Prime subscriber, or you have an Amazon Prime account, you’re now entitled to get some free in-game loot in League of Legends, courtesy of the recent partnership between League of Legends and Twitch.tv.

The free in-game loot can be claimed until May 14. Referred to in-game as the “Summoner’s Crown Capsule”, players can open the reward to get: 1 x random permanent champion skin, 1 x ward skin, and 1 x summoner icon.

How to Get Twitch Prime for Free

Normally, Twitch Prime will set you back $12.99 a month as membership fee. However, it is possible to claim the free League of Legends in-game loot, among others, without having to pay for anything.

Right now, you can sign up for a 30-day trial of Twitch Prime for free. All you need to is to create your own Amazon account. Afterwards, you can sign up for your own free Twitch Prime membership via this link.

After you’re done signing up for your free Twitch Prime trial account, you’ll need to link it to your own League of Legends account. Once finished, you’re now free to claim the capsule on the Twitch Prime loot page. It should appear immediately in-game.

Why You Should Sign Up for Twitch Prime

League of Legends isn’t the only game that has partnered with Twitch Prime for free loot. For those who are interested in getting even more free in-game loot across various titles, a Twitch Prime membership also gets you freebies in games such as Apex Legends and Call of Duty.

Signing up for Twitch Prime also gives you access to a myriad of discounts and exclusive deals, as well as free titles from time to time.

You can check out all of the exclusive deals available to you via your “loot tab”.

Finally, if you’re subscribed to Twitch Prime, you’re entitled to a free subscription to any streamer of your choice.

Just don’t forget to cancel your subscription before the free-trial ends if you have no plans on extending your membership. Otherwise, you’ll automatically be charged with the regular membership fee of $12.99 a month!
